For our patients with dental insurance, we will call your insurance company to estimate the amount of insurance benefit you could receive.  We are not participating providers with any insurance company and are considered “out of network”.  We will file your claim for you with all the necessary information your insurance may need regarding your procedure.  We will always help you with any insurance questions or problems you may have.  Insurance benefits will be mailed from your insurance company directly to you.

Appointments

We make every effort to schedule appointments for the convenience of our patients.  We need your cooperation to ensure that everyone has an opportunity for timely treatment.  Please keep the following in mind:

  • It is very important that your supportive periodontal hygiene visits in this office, as well as your hygiene visits in your restorative dentist's office, be scheduled on a regular basis. We will recommend a specific schedule to you, and we urge you to schedule in advance and to stay with the schedule for best results.

  • Early morning and late afternoon appointments are in great demand in our office. We will be happy to schedule you at one of those times if one is available, but we ask that you please make every effort to keep the appointment. Last-minute changes often prevent us from offering these popular times to other patients who have requested them.

  • We fully understand that there are times when illness or unexpected obligations cause patients to reschedule appointments. However, we ask that you honor your appointments whenever possible so that you can stay on schedule and derive the maximum benefits from your treatment. Please let us know as soon as possible if you have to reschedule your appointment, as this will enable one of our other patients to use the open appointment. Seventy-two hours notice would be gratefully appreciated.

  • Patients who are making good progress sometimes do not feel the need to stay on a supportive periodontal hygiene schedule. Longer intervals between appointments may be recommended for patients who are doing well, but long-term control of periodontal disease depends in part on regularly scheduled professional visits in our office. We believe that prevention is the best treatment of all.

If at any time you have questions about your oral health, periodontal disease, dental implants, or any of the other services we offer in our office, please feel free to contact our office.   We want to work in partnership with you and your dentist to improve your health.
